Over New Haven has a delivery map on the computer and the staff uses that to
route the delivery drivers. It’s fully interactive and shows where the store is
and exactly how the drivers are going to get to where the food is going to.
It
is used as a tool to make sure that the delivery drivers are getting to
everybody on time and that they’re making the most efficient deliveries
possible.
Once
you call or order online, the food is cooked, and then goes in the delivery
bag. Any sodas are also added to the bag. If you have ordered a milkshake, that
goes in an insulated bag – to ensure that it is nice and thick, but still
drinkable – and is then added to the larger bag.
The
driver will then quickly leave the store and hurry your order to your home or
workplace.
